Please double check the model number of your product before placing an order and if you’re unsure, please contact us.
Due to the nature of the product, it is completely normal for airbeds to deflate slightly (up to 10%) after you’ve fully inflated it. This can be because of the ambient temperature of the room, changing the pressure of the air inside the bed.
If your airbed is deflating by more than 10% it’s possible that there’s a problem and we’ll be happy to help.
Different Intex products are supplied with different warranties.
Please check our Warranty Replacements Policy page to see how long your warranty lasts.
No. When setting up the spa outdoor choose an area that provides shelter from the sun and does not expose the spa to direct sunlight, such as a porch or gazebo.
No. If the heater is activated first and you turn on the jet spa sanitation system after, the heater will be turned off automatically. The heater will resume work once the sanitation system is finished. If the jet spa sanitation system is activated first, and you turn on the heater after, the sanitation system will be turned off automatically.
The filter pump and cartridge are designed to filter suspended particles from water, but they will not prevent algae from growing in the spa water. You will have to sanitize the spa water before further use. See the manual for basic water sanitation guidelines and use included chemical floater dispenser to administer chlorine into the spa water. Always follow the chemical manufacturer’s directions. Never let chlorine come in contact with the spa tub if it is not completely dissolved. Likewise with liquid chlorine; mix it immediately and thoroughly with the spa water. Press the bubble button on the spa control panel to turn on the bubble air blower and help dissolve the chemicals into the water. Never mix chemicals together. Add the chemicals to the spa water separately .Thoroughly dissolve each chemical before adding another one to the water. ALWAYS ADD CHEMICALS TO WATER, NEVER WATER TO CHEMICALS! Remove the chemical floater dispenser before spa use once clean and properly balanced water is established. Contact your local pool/spa professional for chemicals, sanitizers, test kits and water testing procedures that are PVC safe.
No, the filter cartridge made by other manufacturers might not fit or function properly.
It depends on the ambient temperature where you use your spa. We recommend using the spa indoor for optimum performance. Following factors will cause the water temperature to drop:
If alarm code E90 is displayed on the control panel, it means no water is flowing through the system. Please check the following:
The filter cartridge is clean and properly installed.
To do this, turn off the control unit and remove the filter cartridge and the filter cartridge housing completely from the inside of the spa tub. Turn the control unit back on and try to run the spa as normal with these removed for a period of 1-2 hours.
To clean the filter cartridge you can soak it in warm soapy water for 20-30 minutes, giving the surface a light brush. Then rinse with a power shower or something that has some force behind the water to get deep into the inner grooves. (Note: submerge and shake the cartridge under water for several times. Make sure there is no air inside before putting it into the cartridge housing)
It is likely to be an issue with the filter motor – you can buy replacement motors or claim a free replacement under warranty via our Spare Parts Shop
Check and ensure the in/outlet connections between the spa tub and the spa control unit are not blocked, twisted or leaking.
Check and ensure there is no debris inside the spa tub inlet and outlet grids. If there is debris inside, turn the control unit off, unscrew the spa inlet/outlet grid with a Phillip screwdriver. Clean and replace it back.
Make sure the spa water is clean and sanitized. Contact your local pool/spa specialist on water treatment and softener recommendation and always make sure it is PVC safe.
If E90 still shown, there might be something wrong with control base unit. Please contact us for further help.
You may use heated water to fill the spa, which will shorten the initial heat-up time. However, make sure not to use water exceeding the normal spa operating temperatures which are not to exceed 104°F (40ºC). Water over 104°F (40ºC) will turn off the heating unit and is not considered safe. Always check the water temperature in your spa before use and refer to the manual for detailed information on safe use.
The water temperature rises 2-3ºF (1-1.5 ºC) per hour. As with any large volume of water, it will take time to heat it up. Be aware that the initial heating after filling may take as long as 20 hours to reach the maximum temperatures depending on the starting temperature of your fill-water and external conditions. The following condition will lead to slow water heating:
It depends on where you live. Do not leave the spa outside with water at a temperature lower than 39ºF (4ºC), as the spa tub may freeze in such weather condition and cracking may occur. The water temperature inside the spa should be higher than 39ºF (4ºC) and the water inside the circulation system, pump, pipe should not be frozen. If freezing temperatures are expected, disassemble the spa and store it in a dry place with non-freezing temperatures.
No, the ground must be perfectly flat and level. A unevenly positioned Spa could become unstable and unsafe.
The air naturally expands and contracts with variation of air temperature, thus causing variation of pressure, too. At higher air temperatures (on hot days) the air inside the spa wall expands and the pressure increases, whereas at lower air temperatures (on cold days or during night) the air inside the spa wall contracts and the pressure decreases giving a false impression that the spa tub or cover bladder has lost air. Do not over-inflate the spa tub and spa cover air bladder, and make sure the air valve is firmly secured and properly closed (consult manual for proper air valve operation). If the spa wall is very soft, add some air.
If you have purchased a 2018 season Intex spa, a built in pressure gauge is provided and will allow the spa tub to release air to the allowed air pressure. Please note that it will not adjust the spa tub wall by adding air, it will only release air when there is too much pressure.
For earlier models, inflate the spa tub wall until it is firm to the touch, then attach the pressure gauge to the air valve. The pressure gauge indicator should be in the green area for a properly inflated spa tub.
Please pay attention to air temperature variation! In cold weather the spa tub will lose some pressure due to air contracting. If this occurs, DO NOT add air since the air inside will expand again once the temperature RISES. You should check the air pressure in hot weather, and if the pressure gauge indicator is in the red area (indicating overpressure), let some air out to prevent the spa wall or inflatable cover air bladder from failing due to excess internal pressure.
No. The heating system works in conjunction with the filter pump as the water needs to be driven through the heating element.
You may use a small flat screwdriver or a small key or any small flat rigid strip to lock/unlock the spa cover buckles.
The water temperature rises 2-3ºF (1-1.5ºC) per hour. As with any large volume of water, it will take time to heat it up. Be aware that the initial heating after filling may take as long as 20 hours to reach the maximum temperatures depending on the starting temperature of your fill-water and external conditions. If you do not feel heated water after the first few hours, it does not mean your spa is not working. Give it appropriate time to properly heat up and make sure to always keep the cover on when the spa is not in use.
Yes, you may set an idle water temperature to be maintained. Make sure the spa is always covered when not in use, and the spa water is properly treated with chemicals for proper water balance (Refer to the owner’s manual for basic water sanitation guidelines and consult your local pool/spa professional).
Water condition varies within specific zones and areas. In some regions the water could be “hard water”, this is because the water has excessive minerals, such as calcium and magnesium, thus causing the water to adopt a cloudy colour. Check your local pool supply store for advice on water treatment and balance.
The pump and filter alone will not prevent algae from growing in pool water; this can only be done by always keeping proper chlorine and pH levels. Purchase an INTEX Krystal Clear Saltwater System or check your local pool supply store for further information.
Depending on usage and chemical balance this figure can vary. If properly filtered and chemically balanced, the pool water should last through a summer season. You can reduce the need for water changes by keeping your pool covered when not in use, assessing the water regularly to ensure proper chemical balance, running the pump for an adequate number of hours each day, keeping the filter pump cartridge clean and replacing the cartridge when needed.
First make sure the air valves are firmly secure and inserted, and then use the back of your hand to feel if there is any leakage on the top ring, if no leakage is found, you can also put liquid soap in a squirt bottle and spray on seams. If there is a leak it will bubble. After the leakage is found, repair it with the repair kit included in the pool set.
Yes. Contact your local pool supply store for information on water treatment and supply the estimated number of gallons of water in your pool. Also, the INTEX Krystal Clear Saltwater Systems will keep your pool clean from algae and bacteria.
The surface must be perfectly flat, solid and level. Pay close attention to the pool’s stability and levelness in the first stages of filling your pool up with water.
If after about an inch of water is accumulated, and the water is not spreading out evenly, or the pool appears to be bulging to one side, stop filling the pool, drain the water, and select a new level site. If the pool is set up on a slope, the pool will be lopsided and can collapse causing personal injury or property damage.
Empty the pool, use a soft brush, mild detergent and water to remove algae stains from the pool liner. Thoroughly rinse and dry before refilling or storage.

Remove and clean with fresh water and dry all components including hoses. Coat the seals, O-Rings and washers with petroleum jelly (see Owner’s Manual for detailed instructions). Store the device and accessories in a dry, indoor storage area preferably between 32 degrees Fahrenheit (0 degrees Celsius) and 104 degrees Fahrenheit (40 degrees Celsius). The original packaging can be used for storage.
Yes, for hygienic purposes we recommend a filter pump be used with all INTEX 8′ or larger above ground pools.
Estimated filter pump life is approximately 2,000 hours, which is about 3 summer seasons of normal usage.
No, the filter pump is not designed to be operated if pool is in use and/or occupied, although it is safe and has complied with EN safety standards.
No. With proper chemicals and filter cartridge replacement, the pump will keep the pool clean from suspended water particles. A pool vacuum should be used to clean the walls and bottom of the pool. Additionally the INTEX KRYSTAL CLEAR TM Saltwater System and maintenance kits will keep your pool clean from algae and bacteria. Depending on the local characteristics of your water condition, it may be desirable to add water softeners, clarifiers, or algaecides.

If alarm code E98 is displayed on the control panel, it means the spa has encountered either water or ambient temperature of 55℃ (131ºF) or above, i.e. the ambient temperature around the Spa has reached or exceeded 55℃ (131ºF), or the spa water temperature is 55℃ (131ºF) or above. If this happens, first press the “RESET” button on the side of the spa control unit using a small and thin object till the E98 alarm stop, then unplug and plug back in the RCD to restart the system.
If E98 still shown after several reset attempt, follow these instructions:
If alarm code E97 is displayed on the control panel, it means there is a heater fuse error. If alarm code appears on the control panel, unplug and plug back in the GFCI/RCD and test the GFCI/RCD to restart the system. If the problem persists, please contact a Intex service center for assistance.
E96 means the PureSpa is experiencing a system error. If the control panel displays this error, turn off the system and unplug it. Plug the unit back in and restart it. If the error persists, turn it off and unplug it. After unplugging it, unscrew the B and C connection until water starts to leak out. Do not unscrew them to the point that they come off of the tub as you can lose all the water in the tub. Loosening them until the leak will release any air from the control base. Tighten the connections and restart the unit.
If problem persists, please contact the Intex Service Center for assistance.
If alarm code E95 is shown, it means the water temperature is too high. Let the spa water cool down to 104ºF (40ºC) or below, reset the control panel information by unplug and plug back in the GFCI/RCD, and reset the GFCI/RCD to restart the system. See owner’s manual for details.
If alarm code E94 is displayed on the control panel, it means the water temperature is too low.
If alarm code E94 appears, unplug and plug back in the GFCI/RCD and test the GFCI/RCD to restart the system when the spa water temperature is higher than 39ºF (4ºC).
It means high salt level (above 2500 ppm). If E92 is shown do the following:
Note: Always turn the system off and disconnect the power cord before cleaning and servicing.
It means low salt level (below 2500 ppm). If E91 is shown do the following:
